The French Club’s car wash proved to be a big success. OFFICERS: Jana Howell, Treasurer; Carol Tucker, President; Charles Wal- ker, Reporter; John Frivance, Program Chairman; Madeline Penton, Sec- retary; Peggy Clark, Reporter; Mrs. Jane Clothier, Sponsor. French Club Le Cercle Francais is an enthusiastic group of stu- dents who promote interest in the French language and culture. Club members actively participate in many of Bay High’s activities. Miss Jana Howell was the club’s candidate for Homecoming queen; her lovely float rep- resented the Fleur de Lis. After Homecoming, the Cercle Francais devoted its time to ‘The Teens Against Polio Drive,” and to the annual Language Club Party, which was a great success. Interesting club meetings were presented throughout the year, under the sponsorship of Mrs. Clothier. Miss Jana Howell French Club as homecoming queen candidate.
