Miss Marie Lisenby represented the Student Council as Homecoming Queen Candidate. OFFIC ERS, Left to Right: Dewey Conrad, President; Mike Mahoney, Vice-President; Wanda Hughes, Secre- tary; Dianne George, Treasurer. Student Counci The Student Council has the welfare of the student body at heart. The council is composed of members of the student body elected for the purpose of further- ing the activities of student life and promoting a wide- spread interest in student governmental affairs. The council serves as a liaison between the teacher and the student. li also sponsors many worthwhile projects throughout the year such as Homecoming and raising money for scholarships. The Student Council helps students grow in character, good citizenship, and leadership. Page Eighteen
