| i [MA opotlight on you As You Mature The members of the Junior Class plan and participate in several important activities during the school year. AS THEY MATURE, they accept more and more responsibili- ties. Early each fall, the Juniors begin to plan for one of their major projects—the Junior Class Play. This year’s pro- duction of “Where’s Charley” was very successful. Then comes the Junior-Senior Prom, an exciting event that the upperclassmen look forward to each year. The prom gives the Juniors a chance to outshine the Seniors and each class member is given an opportunity to serve on one of the many committees. Early in the spring the Juniors place orders for class rings. We at Bay High School are proud of the fact that the seal featured on our ring and on the cover of this Peli- can, is the oldest seal existing in the State of Florida. As the Juniors select their rings, they begin to realize the impor- tance of the fact that they are next year’s Seniors and that the future of the Bay County High School rests on their shoulders. Fortunately, they have reached this stage in their maturity. Secretary; Helen Walker, Treasurer. Page One Hundred Thirty-One
