Two bits, four bits. . . . Cheerleaders and students cheer Tornadoes on to victory. Big blow The parade Friday afternoon show- ed the results of many hour's work on the floats. Friday night saw the grand climax of the festivities. Students, Teachers, Alumni, and Fans crowded into the stadium to see the Tornados meet Woodlawn. During the half time Betty Jane Hall was crowned Homecoming Queen of - l955. Everyone agreed that even though we lost the game, the Tornados played good football against the strongest team in Alaba- ma, and Homecoming was a huge success. . 'ir' bv QUEEN' C0 lt'l' TOP ROW: C. The Seniors began to realize that this was their last year at Bay High, and the Sophomores began to feel at home in the classes and halls. In the rush of football games, conventions, pep rallies, and Homecoming Activities, schoolwork was some times forgotten. Our Journalists attended the dis- trict F.S.P.A. Convention in Tallahassee. They reall invaded F. S. U. and had a grand time. Bay High's annual Homecoming Activities began with the Big Blow, where the slogan was Beat Wood- lawn. The Cheerleaders, Band, and skits present- ed by various clubs made the Blow a cheering succes L Registering at F. S. P. A. Convention Judy Taylor, Harold Creel, and Sally Poston in the win- ning Big Blow skit. This was put on by the F. H. A. Arriving at F. S.U. for District Journalism Convention.

Hold that man. . . . I An exciting moment on the road to victory against Tallahassee, NOVEMBER November .... Students arrived at football games in Bermuda shorts and long socks. The craze seemeduto be Bop , the color scheme pink and black Almost everyone loaded into buses and cars on November 4, and set out for Dothan to see the Tornadoes win an ex- citing victory over the Tigers. Ahappy crowd returned home from a winning over one of our biggest rivals. A very close game was also played with Leon in which the Tornadoes came out on top.
