The Key Club International is a service organization with projects of ser- vice to the school and the com- munity. The club is made up of senior, junior, and sophomore boys with a C average who are willing to spend time on worth- while projects. These boys are elected into the club by a two- thirds vote of the membership. They are picked by the qualities of character, leadership, and working abilities. The purpose of Quill and Scroll is to instill in students the ideal of scholar- shipg to advance the standards of the profession of journalism by developing better journalists and by inculcating a higher code of ethicsg to promote exact and dispassionate thinking. clear and forceful writing. Quill and Scroll 'desires to make membership an honor that will stand everywhere for the high- est type of high school journa- listic achievement.
