BA KETBALL The Bay High basketball squad, traditionally the hard luck team of all school athletic teams, was this season abiding by the rule. Injuries, lack of interest, and war conditions cut the squad almost in half. Hindered by lack of transportation, few games with other high schools were played and a full schedule was impossible. At home ten games were played in the local K. S. 0. League. Badly outelassed by former College stars and professional basketball players, the team won five of these games. With only one team member graduating this year, and sophomores and juniors gaining much experi- ence, the boys eagerly await next season. i I 1 Porter ld Phillip terald l'u ll joe Tea ue.
