Bradner; Dean of Men, Palmer Kern; and Dean of Women, Lois Waterman. These three have proven themselves unparalleled examples of leadershin for our college. They have shown | authority without superiority. Through long hours of | hard work, patience, and understanding, they have con- tributed much to their college and their students. We, the students, have all profited from the guiding advice of Dean Bradner in the categories of curriculun, future careers, and everyday living. We know Dean Kern as an advisor to men concerning their problems from their drafting classes to their draft status. He is also director of our college athletics. And Dean Waterman, in her two years here, has managed to chat personally with all women about their studies and adjustment to junior college life. She has also initiated several new all- college projects. So to these three we proudly dedicate this book. MICHIGAN Dear Faculty: To you who have given so much time and ef- fort so that we could further our education, we Say thanx you, There have been times vhen we, the students, thought you must have burned the midnight oils looking uo nard questions for a test or thinking up hard assignments, but now that another year is over, we can forgive you. The student-faculty relationship at J.C. is one of the outstanding attributes of the college. We disagree on some minor points as most students and taculty do, but when it comes to the major cecisions we sticx together to make Bay City Junior College a school to be ad- mired. Now that commencement is near for the sooh- omores, and a vacation is in sight for the freshman, our little skirmishes can be tucked away way back in the devths of our brains as we again say thank you for everything.
