STUDENT COUNCIL, SEATED, LEFT TO RIGHT: Dean Lois Waterman, Helen Neiderstadt, secretary; Roger Hearin, president; Dean Eric J. Bradner, Dean Palmer Kern. STANDING, LEFT TO RIGHT: James Bradner, Joe Rabideau, Jane Nearing, Bill Pohlman, Jack Sauve, Jim Dwan. Activities No education is complete without a touch of extra-curricular activities of which J.C. offers a wide variety. Beside those clubs which are meant for amuse¬ ments as well as for learning, it offers an extensive student government and several classes which by their broad range contribute much to the rest of the student body. These activities were brought into being by the demands of the students. There have been years in which some were dispensed with because of a lack of demand. However, this year two new clubs were called into being-the. Ski Club and the Camera Club. The enthusiasm and social graces as well as the knowledge gained through these activities will always be with the participants. 27
