The purpose of the 1956 edition of the Black Cat is to record the deeds of the boys, girls, and teachers, who for the past year, embodied the spirit of Bay City High School . . . In the years to come, the yearbook will keep alive the memories gathered during the undergraduate days. The future years will bring new faces and changes to the school scene, but there shall be for us this record of the friends we knew, the things we did, and the memories that are still dear to us . . .
