To Students, EX-Students and Friends of Bay City Senior High: To the staff and sponsor of the Black Cat, congratulations upon another fine yearbook. Your loyalty, cooperation, and extra work has made possible this wonderful book of memories. Everyone will find here the spirit and traditions that continue to weave the everlasting bonds of future school spirit and friendship that will make the passing years worthwhile. Our memories become the basis of future hopes, aspirations, and good will as we are reminded in this treasure house unfolding places, peoples, and things that have become a 'part of us. Here are the roots of our pattern of life for all the tomorrows. Here begins the molding of our character for the everlasting years ahead. Through you and yours, may I feel that a part of us lives on and on through you? I have every kind wish for your future. E. J. Myers Principal To the Graduates, 1955: You now turn new pages in your book of life. What will you write day by day on these new pages? Each new development springs from some- thing else. Make use of those things of which you have knowledge. Stand strong graciously, smile sincerely, and seek further understanding. To- morrow is a new day. Do it well with a spirit so high that the burdens of yesterday will be for- gotten. Do something helpful every day. Take advantage of all opportunities to do good deeds and to speak kind words for such is the key to happiness. Be a friend and you will always have friends. Be optimistic. Meet the challenge of the situation with determination and courage so that happiness may come not only to yourself but to others. A ,lohn H. Cherry Superintendent 3351543 .Qs
