ml Since this may be the last yearbook in which I will have sponsor billing. I've decided to express a few things of importance to me and to the staff of '52. Fir,st, I would like to thank all of the people who have had a part in the annuals I've sponsored - the faculty, students, and advertisers who have shown their interest in our book as an important part of school life. I think it is important, for it is the one tangible thing we all have to show the return of a year spent at B. C. H. S. Secondly. let me say how gratifying a part of teaching it is to be the sponsor of a yearbook, for, although it is sometimes a trying proposition, the feeling you have when the books get in and you actually see the results is a mighty fine one. My special thanks to all of my top-notch editors - Yvonne Lyle, Ruth Glenn, Robert Deutsch, Nancy Moore, and Cora Louise Morgan - also to Mrs. Sue Morrow and Mrs. Key Ingram who have always helped when I have needed it. 0 SENIOR DAY 0 ON THE SIDELINES Vile, the BLACK CAT STAFF of 1952, present this book to you, hoping your hearts will be lighter and your lives will be happier for the memories it may bring. In the years to come. when you look through these pages, if you relive these glimpses of your varied activities and remember these happy days, then our efforts will not have been in vain. Speaking for the '52 Seniors, we would like to thank all those whose interest has made possible the education, the lasting friendships, the smiling faces, and pleasant memories of our years at Bay City High School. To those who have founded this system of freedom and education - parents, tax- payers, school board members, administrators, and teachers - our sincere thanks.
