'Q Mc lntgghy fe Mr. Richmond. Sixty-four wide-eyed freshmen found themselves sud- denly thrust into high school life. Not knowing where to go or what to do, they looked for upper class friends and teachers to find out what was going on. Like all resourceful freshmen, they soon found out what was what and ended their first year looking like veterans. To start off a new year right, the sophomores initiated them. The freshmen, made-up and dressed in silly clothes, became the stars of a three-ring circus in the gym. They twirled hula hoops, played ball, did the bunny hop and a few more silly things. Even their sponsors, Mr. Mclntosh and Mr. Richmond, were initiated by twirling hulo hoops. The class organized themselves and elected their offi- cers. For money making purposes they held a car wash during the fall and at the last basketball game they held a cake raffle. l am sure that like all freshman classes, they will soon become sophomores and go on to graduation. l hope they will keep up their good school spirit, continue to work together as a class, and do their part in making the school proud of them.
