SENIORS September 5, 1950, the hell rang, calling all classes back to school, but the seniors re- turned to their last memorable year of school. Nearly everyone had two conflicting thoughts - one of happiness in completing school and making preparation for our future lives and one of sadness as we realized that the hell would ring no longer for us, A few highlights to remember are as follows: our home room which proved to be an advantage . . . the senior boys who were on the team-Wilson, Kauffman, Clark, Henkler, Luse, Smith, and Shigley . . . our first basketball game which ended victoriously - Bris- tol 30, Jiintown 53 . . , our brilliant government class and Mr. Caskey's additional grey hairs . . . all of this and more came to an end with the end of the first semester, January 12 . . . the beginning of the second semester, January 15, found us looking toward our futures with great thoughts we were measured for our caps and gowns March 30 marked the date of our senior play the Junior Senior Banquet May 12 baccalaure ate occured May 20 commencement took place on May 21 with faith hope and courage we look to the future HONOR STUDENTS VALEDICTORIAN CO SALUTATORIAN CO SALUTATORIAN Jam s Lus Yvonn D ak George Henkler ,iff J 3 ev Page Fourteen
