You'll be hearing us say things such as: Ray Belisle, sophomore President, helped a good year pass quickly with the Sophomore Brawl as the highlight. Nancy Stephens was our pretty Miss 1956. We ended our year with a pic- nic, showered with excessive use of water guns. We were so well-satisfied with Ray that we chose him to guide us through our our Junior year. The first big event was our play, Father Was a Housewife, a cute comedy. We had the largest turnout ever on Junior Dress-Up Day. We carried on our enthusiasm by having a highly successful Junior Prom. Sitting on the Seashell Throne were our Queen, Kathyrn Meisner, King, Ray Belisle and their court. We ended our year with another damp picnic. Jack Otterson presided over our senior year, which was packed with lots of excitement. First, we had our pictures taken. Then came the Senior Ball with the beautiful and most appropriate setting of Winter Wonderland. Of course, as loyal seniors we set to work ordering announcements, cards and measuring for caps and gowns. Our play, Room or One More, was terrific. Other exciting days we remember were the traditional Girls' Tea, Senior Assembly, Picnic and Baccalaureate. Then on graduation night as we receive our diplomas, we, the class of '56 , all sadly rea ize that many happy days are gone and it's time to say goodbye.
