. 3. HQMQGQ Homecoming 85 started out Monday with everyone preparing themselves for a day in the sun, as it was HAWAIIAN, HAT, Sz SUNGLASSES DAY. Tuesday, REVENGE OF THE NERDS DAY, was a big hit with everyone participating, even some teachers! BABY AND SUCKER DAY was Wednesday. The cheerleaders with the help of the Home Ec. students, sponsored a Royal Tea for the Homecoming Royalty. The activities and games for the afternoon were rained out, so the classes played volleyball and later watched movies. Thursday was PUNK ROCK DAY. Coronation was at night. The Royalty included: Steve Albers, Renea Albers, King Keith Huss, Queen Pam Hein, Tonya Triplett, and Todd Lund. The flowergirl and crownbearer were Christina Lafrenz and An- drew Markert. A bonfire followed the crowning. Friday was RED-N-BLACK HUG A BOMBER DAYl! The cheerleaders were up bright and early and prepared a breakfast for the Senior football players and coaches. In the afternoon, classes were dismissed for the traditional parade through Battle Creek. In the Homecoming game, the Bombers tried to tackle Wall Lake, but were defeated. After the game, the dance featured tunes by Masters of Music, which lasted until 12:30 a.m. And that was the end of a very fun and exhausting Homecoming week at B.C. High until next year.
