Gym class is often more fun than work, so it seems to the boys playing basket- ball. Shape Up! Build Stamina Physical Education classes at Central encourage the develop- ment of a health body to keep pace with active intellects. The required Physical Educa- tion for sophomores helps the student to develop his muscles and introduces him to sports vvhich might vvell become a form of lifetime recreation, such as bovvling, swimming, aquatics, baseball, basketball, or golf. For those who choose to take part in the Physical Education course for a longer period of time, it gives the opportunity to improve athletic skills and phys- ical fitness.
