Many con- tracts in school business must meet with the ap- proval of the board before they can go into effect. The president of the Board of Education is Mr. Philip E. Slayton. The policies of the Board of Education are put into etlfect by the Superintendent of Schools, Mr. Harry R. Davidson and the Assistant Superin- tendent of Schools, Mr. Ben Ahlschwede.
