Many con- tracts in school business must meet with the ap- proval of the board before they can go into effect. The president of the Board of Education is Mr. Philip E. Slayton. The policies of the Board of Education are put into etlfect by the Superintendent of Schools, Mr. Harry R. Davidson and the Assistant Superin- tendent of Schools, Mr. Ben Ahlschwede. AllIllllll9tlilllllQ Show li nluslup As principal of Battle Creek High School Mr john Postma assumes a great responsibility His expert management of the many divisions of school admimstration show his ability for the job His long experience vu h high school has gnen him insight into his work The lob of xssistant principal is handled by Mr Oscar Powers Besides the duty of performing the prlncipal s functions The three office secretaries deserve much praise for their indispensable help to the administration of the school Mrs Mildred DeBoer Mrs Annabelle OConnell and Miss Beverly Bonney create a pleasant atmosphere while assisting the principal and assistant principal All of the records of the school are kept by the able trio of Mrs Mildred DeBoer Mrs Anna belle Ofonnell and Miss Beverly Bonney Mr Oscar Powers is very busy in his job as assistant principal, yet he always has time for our problems . . 5 ' f i 2 i .
