Mr. Harry R. Davidson is superintendent of schools. and under his expert guidance the required school curriculum has been improved. the newly organized Community College has been run smoothly. and the city schools have been brought to a point where they compare favor- ably with others in the country. Mr. Davidson and Mr. Ben Ahlschwede. assistant superintendent. cooperate fully with the school board and many phases of school or- ganization arise under their supervision. The board acts as the gov- erning body. while the superintendent and his assistant are the re- sponsible heads of the educational system and are directly responsible to the board. s-,......pm- 'T Our school board is elected by the people of the city. and it is responsible to them. Here the board is prepared to present some information on the school system to those who have attended the meeting. The members are Ben F. Ahlschwede, assistant superinten- dent: Wendell L.
