aiiona! Honor ocieiy The National Honor Society in high school is similar to the Phi Beta Kappa in college. This year sixty students were eligible for the honor of belonging to the National Honor Society. A membership in the organization is gained by keeping grades high enough to be classified in the upper fifteen per cent of the graduating class. Members who were not present when the picture was taken were John C. Christenson, William Lewis, Laurence Lindauer, Marlynd Oliver, Millicent Sigler, Gary Skidmore, Sally Sumrill, Catherine Talbot and Phyllis Wright. The long awaited roll is announced in April. Students who are on the Honor Society may buy emblems of various kinds. Membership is determined by the grades of the students from the ninth grade on through the first semester of their senior year.
