North, Vice-President. enior oar Seniors, we have come to the end of our high school days and we must now plan our future course. Graduation is probably the first milestone of any great importance in our lives. What graduation means to us largely depends upon the attitude we have taken toward our high school work. Some of us have had in mind the diploma as a reward for good work and the recognition that it might bring. Others plan to use their knowledge gained in school only as a stepping-stone to something higher. Our three years here have done much to prepare us for the future. We have been furnished with opportunities to develop our talents through the active support of very responsive and helpful teachers and parents. l know how much we all have anticipated our graduation day, but l can't help feeling senti- mental as l look back over our years at Central, and suddenly realize that we will soon be leaving, never to return to Battle Creek High School as students again. ln conclusion, l wish to thank each member of the Senior Class for his cooperation given me and the other officers during the school year, and the Seniors as a whole extend their heartiest and warmest thank you to our most helpful counselors, Miss Helen Houvener and Miss Frances McCowen.
