His willingness to listen and confer with an individual often helped one in distress to overcome the problems of a regular school day. 19

Plus building a “spirit machine” during the past 21 years at BRHS, she has served well as guidance counselor. It is this sort of person—an institution—whose absence leaves us sad that she’s gone, but happy that she will continue to contribute greatly to the education of young people.
