Exchange Student Brings Germany to B.R.H.S. txssxszr o m wi' wi ■ « km Ernst Stracke, Baton Rouge High's sixth foreign exchange student, joined our student body in September 1965. Although here, but for a brief time, he has participated in most of our school activities and won the friendship of all-1 We will have other exchange students but Ernst will always be a part of us, and we hope that we will always be a part of him. In his own words Ernst describes his year wth us. Being a student at Baton Rouge High was a wonderful and interesting experience for me. When I came over here, I didn't imagine how much the school-life would mean to me. I was very much impressed by the school spirit that was s own at all of the different sports events and in the various clubs. The kindness and friendship of my fellow students made this year such a grea' success for me,- I enjoyed every day at B.R.H-am sure that I will never forget this year. To all you' who made my stay so delightful, I would e to express my sincerest appreciation.’ 18
