SotnetMC Sfeect C For the last ten years the names of Miss Millet and the Fricassee have been so closely connected that it was almost impossible to think of one without the other. It was not surprising, then, that in early fall the 1965 Fricassee staff voted to dedicate this year's book to Miss Millet. Our sense of loss upon her retirement from the sponsorship served to affirm our decision, for we felt that it would be especially appropriate to say Thank you for her many years of service. Perhaps some of our readers do not know of Miss Millet's work as both teacher and yearbook sponsor. No one will ever appreciate her as those who have been privileged to have her as a teacher or those who have spent hours working on the Fricassee with her. It is our hope that this dedication will show to her at least a small part of this appreciation which we all feel.

Occi SxcAottye Student DEREK FELS Though the wail of bagpipes is usually associated with Scotland and kilts, to this year's students at B.R.H.S. it will always bring to mind a fair-haired lad from New Zealand, Derek Fels. Call it superstition, but who could ever be sure that his bagpipe playing at the football games, his Maori war cries at the pep meetings, and his green teki charm constantly hanging on his wrist didn't bring us that extra boost of luck and spirit to lead our way to the State triple A Championship. No one could wish more happiness and success upon Derek than the B.R.H.S. student body. We all hope that his year here with us has been enjoyable for him and that he will take home with him wonderful memories. As you must leave us now, Derek, we want you to know that in our hearts you have won a special place.
