Helveston . . . because he dares to do and to dream in a time when too many have lost their vision . . . and because the shining strength of his faith in those deeds and dreams makes them so real to us.

To the students of BRHS and especially to the Seniors, our Assistant Principal, Mr. Lacy E. Davis, has been an inspiration. He performed his duties in a capable, cheerful, and efficient manner, always urging us on to greater heights in scholastic and extra- curricular activities. By praising us, by de- fending us, and correcting when We were wrong, Mr. Davis merits the respect of the whole student body. MISS FRANCES DUNBAR MR. LACY E. DAVIS, Assistant Principal Miss Frances Dunbar, Well-loved Science teacher at Baton Rouge High School, is retiring after more than 40 years of faith- ful, efficient service. She will ever be re- membered for the untiring help she gave to her students, even after school hoursg for her work on the books in the officeg and last but not least, as a true friend to all. May she have a happy life in her retirement and may she think of us sometimes as we will all keep a cherished place for her in our memories.
