Jfnkiss Robert Pettit President Vice-President Treasurer Secretary This year the Senior Glass has elected as class officers four students who, because of their many fine traits and abilities, are thought to Ik- worthy of this signal honor. |oi Thomas. Class President, has been outstanding not only in school but also in extra-curricular activities. Besides holding offices in various school organizations, he was honored nationally by ]uniot Red Cross, who invited him to Ik- a guest speaker at their national convention. Elected Governor of Pelican Boys' State, |oe was given the chance to attend Boys’ Nation in Washington. Sunny McComas, chosen as f’lYr President, is the only girl in the graduating class to have a straight average in hci four years' work in high school. Sunny has participated in mam activities at Baton Rouge High, and has held offices in Mu Sigma. Honor (dub. and Boosters. Romm Pit hi. Secretary, is well known foi his remarkable basketball career. He was chosen Most Valuable on the Mi-City Cage Team for two consecutive years, and in his senior year, led his team to win the State Championship. RoIkti has held office in the Honor Club and was elected first Secretary-Treasurer of the newly inaugurated Student Council. Cecil Ji skins, who was elected Setiior Class Treasurer, is known not only lor his ability in athletics but also for his jollv. carefree disposition. He has served as an officer in various clubs and attended Pelican Boys’ State, where he was chosen as Best Entertainci and elected to return as Counsellor.
