The Senior Class of 1911 is one of the largest ever to graduate from Baton Rouge High. Its accomplishments have been as numerous as it is large. The fine record established in previous years in athletics, scholarship, and character have more than been upheld by the 1911 class. To lx- a senioi in am school means something more than just to he finishing I lie first and perhaps most important phase of our life. To lx- a senior means Ix-mg a part of the spirit of the school. Not only to supply class officers. luh and organization leaders. Inn to actually lead, to direct, and to lx responsible for the propci carrying out of that part of our li cs which is left to us to manage We. (lie seniors of 1911. feel that we have fulfilled our duties and responsibilities as completely as our abilities will allow. The choice of senior officers facing u this scar was met more than satisfactorily l» the class when it headed the senior cabinet with Mary Frey as president, and seconded her with vice-president. Leo Pourciau. Dorothy Mac Richard and Eugene Craney completed the group. These officers, wc feel, have done their jobs with a maximum of efficiency and with the least possible interference to theii line scholastic averages. Much has Ixvn said and written on the subject of parting, hut seldom docs one sec or hear anything which can express completely the mixed emotions and feeling wc find within ourselves as wc realize that wc have spent our last happy weeks in B. R. H. S. I here is a time when all good things must end. and now that time has come to u . we look forwaid to our entrance to a strange, new world, fearing, hoping, and dicaming. Many of us will part wavs, some to further pursuit of education in some college or university others to work in the world that is theirs when they have finished this, the first and possibly most enjoyable part of their lives.
