Although these should be regulated by the student's abili- ties, they should also include facts in fields of geography, history, literature, health, science and industry. Every child should have usable skills in arithmetic, reading, writinj, and English. We may add the following skills when time permits: musiq typewriting, arts and crsfts. Some need direct teaching of at- titudes concerning citizenship, sanitation and sufety. We should try to develop all of the child und not just part of him. 9
