Outstanding Homecoming ’82 October 2, After several weeks of making plans 1982, was finally here! and building floats, the weekend which many people had been waiting for ar- rived; it was Homecoming! Everything started on Friday night with a Powder Puff Soccer Game bet- and Senior girls, ween the Junior which the Juniors won. Boy cheerleaders and a drill team made up of Senior guys entertained the crowd; and at half time, Kevin Doyle was crowned as Powder Puff King. Saturday was warm and sunny and started off great with a parade with the theme of “‘Cartoons’’. The Senior ABOVE Seniors win float competition with— Winnie says, ‘‘Pooh on the Tigers.” Homecoming Queen Candidates were Connie Hartshorn Piper the court Hammerle, Jane and Perdue; with made up of Juniors Jenny Kinker and Ann Amberger, Sophomores Claire and Jill Freshmen Kate Ekins and Charissa DeFrancesco. Along with the great band show at half time, Jane Hart- named as the 1982 Homecoming Queen and the Senior Werner Hegwood, and shorn was class was announced as the winner of the float competition. To end a great day, the Bulldogs beat the Lawrenceburg Tigers by a score of 27-8.
