This is Where the Actionls... After another short but eventful summer, it was time to return to Batesville High School for the 1981-1982 school year. The late hours that everyone had become accustomed to would have to be changed so that everyone could arise for their day at school beginning at 8:20. The classrooms, halls, parking lots, and buses would again be full of students as everyone got back into the daily routine of school. Students involved in Band, FFA, Football, Tennis, Golf, and Cross Country had ended their summer leisure hours several days before everyone else and had been at work for some time in preparation for the opening of their activities. Thanksgiving, Christmas, Semester Exams would soon be arriving along with the cold blustery days of December, January, and February. But for the time being everyone was renewing acquaintances, rejoining clubs, and getting back into the swing of Reading, 'Riting, and 'Rithmetic.
