Rainy WeatherDampens Baseball Season ee The baseball squad had a relatively successful season this year. Because of the unusually rainy weather many games had to be rescheduled. At presstime their season had not been completed. At the time the annual went to press the Bulldog record was 7-8 with six conference games left. The varsity squad was coached by Mr. Dunker, and the reserve squad was coached by Mr. Koch. Ron Luers, a senior, served as co-captain of the squad. He was a strong pitcher as well as an outstanding out- fielder. Ahem! Kids. . . Junior John Moorman was the third baseman, and a relief specialist for the Bulldogs. He will be a great asset again next year. Senior Dave Hartman was a hard hitting outfielder for the squad. All the seniors on this year’s squad will be missed next ee and will be hard to replace. However, with the experience the underclassmen have gained throughout the season, the team should again be strong contenders in the conference.
