The Class of 1966 showed spirit from the start. We organized dance nights in the Den, a skating party, a ski trip, and dorm get- togethers. The girls helped to plan dorm outings, Christmas parties, the guys jinally got up the nerve to do some serenading. In numbers greater than ever before we joined clubs, took out petitions for class and organizational positions, and, as time went on, became more and more determined that our class was going to be a little diferent, a little better.

This, I 'm sorry to say, is where our upper class friends deserted us. We were comforted with phrases such as Don't sweat it . . . this happens to everybody after they ,ve been here a whilel' . . . and . . . It,s just catching up to you that's all . . . freshman always think they're going to turn this place upside downv.
