Paperella, Mr. Frederick Allan, Jr., Mr. Frank Pixley, Mr. Everett Warren, Super- intendent of Buildings, Mr. Edward Jacobs, President Board Of Educalizbn HE Staff of the '55 Batavian commented on this page last year on the good work of our Board of Education in building new schools, and presented two pictures of the john Kennedy School in the early stages of its construction. Pushing our interest beyond the confines of our own school seemed a good idea, so we have continued the report on progress at john Kennedy with two more pictures. Qlncidentally, if we do this again, we shall elect a time when the surrounding terrain is less wintry and bleak., The Board didn't forget BHS, however. Remember the face lifting vw Qi-9? . . they gave the building last summer? MR OSBORN Not only has the Board of Education put in many extra hours in our be- ' half, but also has Mr. Osborn been a very busy man. We certainly thank them. .... tt, ,, A- at -r , A UH. OUR PRINCIPAL aff, i LEFT TO RIGHT: Mr. Sanborn, Miss Haitz, Miss Brumstead, Mr. Clarke. FJCMZW HE Faculty went its merry way through the year again, merrier we imagine than many students think it is. The men bowled after school Tuesdays, and so did Miss DeWitte and Miss Canty. Where were the other women? There was coffee on the stove at 3:45, and a select few took advantage ofit. But the colossal event of the year was a party hon- oring Mr. Sanborn for his election as president of the Western Zone of the State Teachers Association. Boy, dig that cake! Wow, those calories!
