The Bastrop High School Chapter of the Junior Red Cross is one of the most active clubs in our school. They sponsor the junior Red Cross drive, and also make nut cups and scrap books for hospitals. It is an important club and a helpful one, too.

MRS. RESWEBER MRS. BICKLEY 1 Uemocracy af Mori The Student Council is the most highly honored group at Bastrop High. The membership includes a representative and alternate elected from each homeroom plus the President, Vice President, Secretary-Treasurer and representatives, which are elected from the Senior, junior, Sophomore, and Freshman classes respectively by the student body. The objectives of this outstanding organization are: To form a better co-operative spirit between the faculty and student body, to promote better school spirit, to aid in the execution of school laws.
