I O 2 The home park for the Bastrop Rams IS located near the West Slde Grammar School The new stadlum was dedlcated on November 14 1941 when the Rams played Wlnnsboro Thls much needed structure has a seating capaclty of 1 500 and was secured through the efforts of our loyal supporters The plan was proposed by Mr F P Rob1nson at a banquet honor xng the team on February 14 1940 Through the untlrlng en deavors of Mr Glen Wllson Mr Webb Madlson Mr Lawrence Spler and Mr Harry Hawthorn a plan to flnance the stadxum was perfected The dedlcatlon and Home Comlng Ceremonles gave the nlght dual lmportance The queen Mlss Betty jane Robxnson and her nalds Mlsses Shlrley Campbell Joyce Nell Roblnson Mllllcent Brodnax and Emma Rodgers added charm to the occaslon The students of Bastrop Hlgh School mlght well show thelr appreclatlon for thls splendld lmprovement to the school plant by contlnulng to produce blgger and better Ram football M chlnes Lnfanl , v.'li5'4 I . . , . . . .
