BEAR TRACKS Published bg lh 9 Senior Class of 1969 Mina High School Editors: Frances Goeriz Andrea Roberls We do not often have the privilege of being guided by a person who cared about so many. All who knew him sensed he felt their joys and triumphs, disappointments and anxieties. Pressures seemed to fade away after a friendly session with Fessor. To this warm, sensitive person education was a wonderful, continuing achievement that goes on as long as we live. The formation of the com- plete human being - dignified, religious, physically excellent, and mentally alert - was the goal he set for us all. His leadership, vital and knowledgeable, encouraged those who sometimes lost hopeg a tribute to him now is the many students striving for excellence in their chosen way of life. For all this we give a heartfelt and warm, 'Thank-you, Fessor.' , . .r,, tt.. ssssnsaumtanaiiiiitiiisilgglg or sz iw ua t gp . x f .3 MISS RUTH PETERSON A kind heart is a fountain of gladness, making everything in its vicinity freshen into smiles. --Washington Irving To cultivate kindness is a valuable part of the business of life. --Johnson To you, Miss Ruth, we dedicate Bear Tracks '69 with our sincere appreciation. Thank you for the concern you have shown for us. -Sk' y f ' St ,, f-is .lf,.Wtwx.a MRS. ALMA LEE JONES To waken interest and kindle enthusiasm is the sure way to teach easily and successfully. --Tryon Edwards The highest function of the teacher consists not so much in imparting knowledge as in stimulating the pupil in its love and pursuit. To you, Mrs. Jones, we give thanks for the special help and consideration you have given us.
