Tale Of El Lobo For years the night air held but one sound, that of the wind. Night after night, rumors of his wisdom and power were passed. The desert listened closely to the stories it told of El Lobo. They knew his voyage had begun and with each nightfall came the wait. Though he never waivered his journey was slow as he searched for a place he could call his own. Across the desert sands he walked waiting for the feeling he knew would come when the place was right. Some- times he wanted to resign from the position, it was too much. But El Lobo came back time after time, for he was the chosen. His pace became surer and quicker. The other animals sensed his urgency and knew the power of his presence. He crested the mountain and looked down into the valley. El Lobo had found his domain and within it was the mighty wolves den.
