Senior Officers Make Executive Decisions Leamng the class of 7985 in its last year at Basic High were President, Tammy Hunnel' Vice-Presi- dent, Cindy Derrick, Treasurer, Kathy Kemp,' Secre- tary Dede Toeptert. These four officers took part in organizing several activities, one of which was the Homecoming Dance. Tammy Hunnel spent hours planning decorations, organizing supplies, and re- cruiting decorators tor Saturday nights affaih' while also dealing with the other events of Homecoming week, such as painting the Cindy Derrick and Kathy Kemp worked on the selling of the senior T-shirts and the painting of the Senior bench. Other activities which were done by these four energenic Seniors included: Junior-Senior Prom, the Senior display as the Boulevard Mall, and planning of graduation ceremonies. Overtime was also spent or- ganizing a post Senior trip. This was a large concern since Disneyland was out this year. The ofhcers suc- ceeded in promoting spirit as the class took a close second in the float competition. Besides planning Super Star Rally these Seniors worked on a display which won for the best theme.
