Royalty Represents Basic Homecoming was a big activity for the students at Basic High. Working on the class floats, painting the and just being involved in the whole spirit week adventure was one of the most memorable experiences we've ever imagined. This was not all that happened during Homecoming. The biggest thrill was finding out who became the Homecoming queen and the four atten- dents. Angie Finney won the election for queen. The Senior attendent was Monica Haneyg Junior attendent was Chris Delillog Sophomore attendent was Christine Wessenj and the Freshman attendent was Kim Willis. l felt excited and l thought it was an honor. lt was different from being an attendent, because l felt more priviledged and received more atten-- tion, declared Angie Finney. Christine Wessen said, l'l was sad because my escort didntt show up and l had to use a replacement. He wore a red and black tuxedo, while l wore a light blue dress which made us uncordinated. Even though l felt awkward, l still enjoyed representing Basic High. 7, Full of excitement, Oueen Angie Finney stands motionless as Congressman Harry Reid places the royal crown on her head. 2.
