Student Spirit Shines At Pep Assemblies Striving for spirit would be the phrase to describe the 1984 pep rally. Results are just what the student body got. The evening began with the traditional opening ceremonies and was closely followed by a wave of overwhelming excitement. The night was not only filled with spirit and pride for being a wolf but also entertainment. Most everyone would agree that the most memorable moments were when Dino Glov- er raced to the finish line with his striped shirt and checker pants holding his hat for the Juniors in the class competition. Or when Troy Lomprey showed us his baseball skills by sliding across the floor instead of the traditional jog. Pep Rallys are to give the school a boost at the beginning of Home- coming week and it can truly be said that it was a success. 1, Juniors Aline Vanderslice, Lynn Sotirakopoulos, and Nancy Davis calmly listen to the band. Polite is a very important word in a juniors vocabulary. 2. Tony Carducci, Grant Glover, Giles Haskins and Harold Anderson show that Basic is truly 4 1. 3. As the Varsity and J V cheerleaders try to get the attention of the crowd Lori Finney trys to get the attention of the photographer, 4. Kathy Kemp shows signs of satisfaction knowing that the songleaders put the dazzle in the pep rally. 5. A herd of football players show the spirit of the J. M team is as big as their team. 6. Don't bother me now! Angie Finney says to Dwight Littlefield as she races in her stylish clothes to the finish line for the seniors. Z Whipped cream never tasted so good , states Shawn Roberson as he Wins the pie eating contest for the seniors. 8. Tracey Meeks shows her new manicure as she dances along with the rest of the varsity cheerleaders. 8 Assemblies av nv 56,014 -N .4-, tw,.,..... if 'If' gf 'W-.1 l -NN Q
