National Honor Society has one main purpose, to promote scholarship. It does this by the use of films, having speak- ers, and tutoring students who need help. National Honor Society also has several projects during the year to earn money. Most of the money is used to f give a scholarship to some deserving senior in National Honor Society. Only students with at least a 3.00 average are eligible. Freshmen are not eligible. The Fine Arts Club is an organiza- tion for the development and cultivation of an appreciation of the fine arts. Members are given a foundation in the enjoyment and understanding of drama, art, music, and literature in making their lives more complete. The club attends lectures, plays, concerts, and similar activities, as well as sponsor- ing a Christmas reception for Basic Alumni.
