I hope that each one of you will at- tain the success to which you aspire. We have tried to help you to discipline your minds so that you can better solve the many problems of life. Use your initiative. Learn by your mistakes. Do not listen to those who would prophesy failure. Your success is our success. Overcoming the obstacles of too much paper work and too many decisions, Mr. Parker Young, our principal, manages to run our school smoothly and enjoy his work. With all this, he still finds time for Joy, Doug, and Cory.

Young’s secretary and BHS's bookkeeper. Mrs. Evelyn Dease, occu- her time by seeing to it that all books and files are properly kept. Without the capable administration staff, where would BHSbe??? All students who are late, absent, or wbo need help when sick appeal to this staff. Transcripts, correspond- ence and student records are handled by them, too. Ad ministration Mrs King, who is now working in the area office, helped BHS through its difficult times as assistant secretary while Mrs. Dease was recovering from her Mrs. Ferrell, the school secretary, spends much of her time giving stu- dents their make-up slips, mimeo- graphing tests, and handling corre- spondence.
