Track and field events involve many students Before the SPOKE went to press the BCCJC track team had not yet completed the season. The sixteen member group possessed a few outstanding trackmen. Jack Bowman coached and encouraged the track team, as well as the cross-coun¬ try team. Though our track and cross¬ country teams failed to break any rec¬ ords, they made a fine showing for the first year of competition at Barton County Community Junior College. i
