First students fulfill dream cials, reported for orientation meetings and preparation for the first classes the week of August 25. On September 8, 1969, Barton County Community Junior College received its first students, a total of 853 students. It was the dawning of a new age for the citizens of Barton County and for the students of the new Community Junior Col lege. Connie Kruckenberg becomes the first student to enrol 1 at BCCJC.
