BURLINGTON CITY LIMIT A rural area, nestled between growing cities, composed of young and old. Young reaching for the future and old reflecting upon the past. Bartlett Yancey is our place. People from different backgrounds knitted together by friendship and pride. Each individual doing his own thing, but making it happen for everybody.

Dedication You would think she was a student so small and high-spirited, but she's really one of the leaders. She can be found in almost any place; in the office, in a classroom, or in the hall socializing. She is ready any time to lend a helping hand and help solve your problems. Her warm smile and her pleasant disposition make her one of the most respected and best loved persons around school. We, the Yearbook Staff of Bartlett Yancey Senior High School, take this opportunity to express our thanks to our guidance counselor. Through her guidance and hard work, she has helped unite the student body and faculty to make this school one to be proud of. She has shown us that a group of people from different backgrounds can work together toward a common goal. For these reasons, we dedicate the 1972 Yan-Tat to Miss Jane Marie Pointer. 4
