L1 It has been ten years since nineteen members of the class of 1952 graduated from Bartlett High School I was given the pleasant task of looking into the career lives of these graduates in order to give their many friends a 'b1rd's eye' view of what they have accomplished since their graduation So first, I went to the White House There I found Marcella Keney a bo keeper for the President of the United States Marcella told me she couldn't wish for anything bettex The next stop was in New York There I attended a good concert and a bas ketball game Hhen a couple arose to acknowledge their applause, I recognized them as Eleanor Greenleaf and Jack Ingram, better known as Hr and Mrs Jack Ingram They have a very worth while career I had a long talk with the Governor of New York and his Secretary You will be glad to know that the Governor was Richard Oliver and the secretary, Louise Cooper, who is now Hrs Richard Oliver They have a family of three children, and all are redheads My next interview was with Hrs William Ormiston Mrs Ormiston prior her marriage, was Sue Bowman Sue is attending Miami University and she has been selected as a cheerleader for the football team She and B111 are per tectly contented I journeyed from Florida to Columbus, Ohio While there I visited Maxine Bailey She and Bill Stephens are married Maxine is teaching shorthand and says she enjoys teaching very much Maxine told me that Hazel Harris was living in Columbus She is married to Arlice Cunningham, and they have five darling young boys During my travels I received a letter from lakim Kee and Gene Basim They are in the Naval Air Force in London, England Everybody around Bartlett ls proud of both of the boys because they are Admirals in the Navy The next day I traveled toward the Midwest. There I visited Delores Biffle She is a newspaper correspondent and is back home after a year in Spain coverln the big news of the Minute Bomb. Delores told me that Sally Hill was in Cincinnati, Ohio. Szfffhas a prominent position taking care of the music for the Hillbilly singers at Station U. L. U.. Cincinnati. I traveled over to Canton, Ohio and there I found Clyde Brown, who is head foreman for a construction company. He has been very successful in his work. Us find that one of Clyde's workers is Jim Farnsworth. He and Clyde are both married and are happy with their Jobs and family. Upon Journeying up the road about fifty miles, I found myself in Cleveland where I visited Roger Minerd. Roger plays baseball with the Cleveland Indians. He plays baseball just as well as he played basketball when in hlgh school. We would also like to let you in on another secret about 'Deadeye'. He is married to Doris Jean Norris. Going to far away places I find Jim Yates out in Hollywood showing his famous paintings. Hs is married to a movie star and she is in the movies while Jim stays home with the children. I find Gordon Secoy living at las Vegas, Nevada where he owns a large de- partment store. He is married to Kay Hoon. Gordon likes the city of Las Vegas because it is close to Reno just in case.
