Floyd volunteered his services during the 1955-56 basketball season as official scorer for the Barry Tigers. During the first three years of the 27 he’s served Barry, Floyd also kept score for the J.V. and junior high teams. This meant many weeks he was working over the score book for at least four nights per week. Floyd decided to limit his scorekeeping to the varsity after those three seasons but took on the additional responsibilities of notifying the various media of the outcome of Barry home games. Floyd has scored more than 650 games for Barry and also volunteering his time and effort for the various tournaments which Barry has hosted. Barry High School dedicated its gymnasium in 1950. Running the foul panels in this first game was Skeet Hull. Two years later, Skeet became the official timer and has held that position on the bench since. In his early seasons he also served the junior high. In Skeet’s 32 seasons, he has served as timer for various tournaments host by Barry. 56 Softball 1st I. R J.Fee.T Bradshaw, J. Brinkman. D Owens.
