THE BARRY YR-RAB STAFF After many long hours of hard work, the Annual Staff has completed the 1970 edition of the Yr-rab. Under the guidance of Lloyd Phillips, editor, Ellen Haddock, assistant editor, and Miss Diane Hale, sponsor, the Annual Staff has devoted much time and patience to the completion of the book. May this Yr-rab bring back fond memories which will kindle a spark to the fire and let you remember all the experiences shared at B.H.S. Look, they didn't bleed off and they bled on. And see all this white space in the middle! Roger keeps Lloyd and Ellen on their toes as he applies some of the points the three learned at the Annual Work- shop in Quincy. The Barry Annual Staff spent 2 1 2 days soliciting ads to make money for the 1970 Annual.

WHEN WILL THE STUDENT COUNCIL MEET ... ? Student Council Members: Karma Norton, Branda Wyatt, Bradley Brinkman, Jim Fennell, Gary Rennecker, Judi Tunget, Myrna Nation, and Randy Garner. Mr. Haley is the sponsor of the Student Council. The 1969-70 officers for the Student Council were: Karma Norton, President; Bradley Brinkman, Vice Presi- dent; Judi Tunget, Secretary; and Gary Rennecker; Treasurer. The Student Council took an active part in helping the faculty select both the grade and high school cheer- leaders. During the year, the officers of the Student Council participated in an active exchange of Student Council members with Liberty High School. This was an opportunity to exchange council ideas and further the relationship between the schools. 17
