Remember the first day of school when we greeted old friends and were assigned to new classes? Hov about the baseball games and the G.A.A. parties, the Home Ec trips and many other beautiful fall outing Then with the approach of winter came the basketball season. Tense with excitement we cheered our team on. In the midst of all this came the much anticipated Christmas vacation. After a social whirl of class and club parties we returned to the old grind. In no time at all the second semester had begun and we could say that half of our school year was behind us. Then along came the basketball tourney and Barry Tigers were in full swing. Colorful cheerblocks performed and fans went wild while teams played their hearts out to win. All of a sudden it was spring. Students began cramming for final exams. Juniors appointed banquet committees and a theme was chosen. At last the big day arrived. Summer vacation was finally here. With all the confusion and excitement behind us we looked back over a year WE'LL ALWAYS REMEMBER.

With the passing of time, the echoes of our school life will grow fainter and fainter and then die away like the school day memories of our grandparents. We hope, that in this year's YR-RAB, we may bring back some of those lost echoes. Now, as you turn these pages, compare the echoes of our last year with the echoes of the past. '1962 1962 Senior Class: If ever a graduating class had a challenge as they commence their adult life, you have. The world is all mixed up--even our own country is in a crisis. What is your status going to be in such a situation? Barry Schools have attempted to prepare you for such a world. It is a world that will require educated citizens--citizens who can live together--who will have respect for the other fellow. It's going to take citizens who will accept responsibility. You have developed these traits, in the past four years, in a small way. Your own happiness and the happiness of others will depend on how well you continue to develop and apply them. The diploma you will receive soon, indicates your teachers' confidence in you-- don't let them down. You have a good annual.
