BARRY COMMUNITY UNIT SCHOOL DISTRICT NUMBER ONE J. H. Syrcl . . . President Gilbert W. Franklin, Superintendent W. R. Predmore .... Secretary Barry, Illinois March 10, 1959 To the Class of '59: I have a booklet on my desk entitled, How Good Are Your Schools . How good is Barry High School? Pretty soon you, the members of the class of '59, will be in new situations, doing different things, living with different people and you're going to be answering that question. If you derive satisfaction from your work, get along with others, and contribute something to make the world just a little better because of you're having passed this way, then our school deserves an A rating. When you fail it reflects on the school because you are a part of it. The accrediting agencies have given Barry High School a high rating--you have been fortunate to have been able to attend such a school. As you leave, it is our wish that you choose your associates carefully, practice good citizenship, contribute something to society, and develope a faith in God. In the future when someone says, he, or she, graduated from Barry High School I hope both he or she and Barry High School will be proud. I like to hear people say It's a good school . Congratulations, John W. Codd, Principal
